This vending machine dispenses over-the-counter medicines even when all pharmacies are closed. Up to 800 boxes can be managed.
The user requests the medication via touchscreen, pays for it in cash or by a cashless method and is then given it in the dispensing compartment.
The drylin® linear guides ensure that the packs actually end up there. These have the advantage that they do not require external lubrication and are therefore practically maintenance-free.

- What was needed: drylin linear guides
- Requirements: A new medication dispenser was to be developed that was more cost-effective to manufacture but also offered advantages for customers. In particular, the maintenance intervals were to be increased without any functional disadvantages.
