Reliable cleaning

This washing machine is used in vehicle production. It removes dirt, oil or coolant which may adhere to certain engine components before assembly in order to prevent these causing damage at a later date. Conventional linear ball bearings did not cope well with the humid environment and the continuous contact with cleaning agents and corroded. The required degree of reliability and maintenance-freedom of the system was only achieved when iglidur® plastic plain bearings from igus® were used.
