Consistent positioning

This robot checks the weld seams on pipes. For the test to be able to provide precise results and run problem-free, the joint arms and actuating systems of the testing head were equipped with guides and plain bearings from igus®. These guarantee the precise and consistent positioning of the system. Since they do not require lubrication, they increase the service life and reliability of the system enormously compared with conventional bearings.
