Smooth sliding

This sliding seat makes it easier for ski jumpers to get to their starting position. Before now, they have had to slide their way along a wooden beam to the centre at the top of the ski slope. Now all they have to do is sit on the sliding seat and simply shift their weight to slide smoothly to the starting position. The seat comprises a base to which drylin® W guide rails from igus® are attached. The seat is screwed to drylin® W hybrid bearings on the rails. The lubricantfree igus® system guarantees perfect function even under the most adverse of conditions and smooth displacement of the seat.
