Superior acceleration

This racing car is used regularly in competitions between European university teams. The vehicle components installed have to lightweight, on the one hand, yet sturdy on the other. igus® will be on board for the next race, because the developers decided against using metal bearings for the accelerator and brake pedal guides and will be using iglidur® J plastic bearings from igus® instead. The iglidur® bearings are significantly more compact and lighter than the conventional metal bearings and have a significantly lower friction coefficient.
