One-off print

This bearing is an absolute one-off, because it has been printed with the aid of a 3D printer. Even the wide igus® product range did not cover the specially curved shape of the bearing, which the design engineer required for his application. However, the entrant did not want to do without tried-andtrusted igus® quality completely and thus decided to use the iglidur® tribo-filament for his customised bearing, since this is up to 50 times more abrasion-resistant than conventional 3D printing materials.
