Turn silently

The trailer of this hospital bed can be turned about 90° to the left or to the right. For the rotation mechanism, it was important for the developers, that the movement would be possibly fluid and silent. This was realized by using an iglidur® PRT polymer slewing ring bearing from igus®. The sliding elements made of iglidur® J run absolutely maintenanceand lubrication-free. The housing components of the slewing ring bearing are made of aluminium and the counter-running surfaces of the iglidur® J sliding elements are hardanodized. All connecting bolts are of stainless steel. All binding screws are made of stainless steel.
