Clean filling

This machine is used for filling vegetable preserves such as sour cabbage or carrots. Since the moving parts of the machine come into contact with both food and aggressive cleaning agents, the design engineers decided to use the FDA-conform iglidur® A500 plain bearings from igus® for the application. These have been especially developed for the requirements of the food industry and are resistant to chemicals. In addition, the bearings require no lubrication, which means that contamination of the food through lubricating oil is excluded.
