Perfect cloning

This 3D scanner can digitalise people precisely. The data recorded can be transmitted to a 3D printer, for example, which can prepare a miniature clone of the person scanned from the data. To scan as precisely as possible, the scanners most make even linear movements at high speed. To achieve this, the developers used a compact drylin® ZLW toothed belt axis with a range of 2,000 millimetres and a drylin® E motor kit with NEMA23 step motor and corresponding wire, motor flange and clutch.
