This printer prints objects up to one metre of height. The long axes of the Delta robot guide the printheads. To reach the desired height, the axes inside the frame of the printing system need to be vertically guided. So that the print result is without errors, the guide needs to be made precisely, smoothrunning and even. For this reason, the engineers decided to use drylin® linear guide systems from igus®, which allow longer operating times and shorter downtimes due to being lubrication-free.
