Description produit
Delta robot - two degrees of freedom 700 mm
igus® offers delta robots for a wide variety of tasks. igus® delta include preconfigured drylin® linear modules and linear axes (ZLW-1040S, incl. replaceable bearings) with igus® stepper motors (NEMA 24 with encoders) and all components necessary for self-assembly.
The 2-axis delta was specifically developed for fast pick & place tasks and is delivered in two different sizes with suitable control systems.

Technical details
  • 700 mm working space in 2-dimensional space
  • Pick rate of max. 50/min.
  • Self-lubricating, maintenance-free drylin® ZLW toothed belt axes
Application examples
Typical applications of our drylin® room linear robots are pick and place, conveyor belt picking and stacking tasks in three-dimensional space. In combination with a gripper or suction cup, picking tasks can be implemented very quickly.

Control system
The igus® Robot Control software enables a simple and intuitive robot control system and programming, making it an easy entry into automation. The modular design makes it possible to control various igus kinematics, such as delta robots. The delta robot can be controlled directly with all its advantages using our igus® Robot Control .
The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This means less project planning effort and faster commissioning.
The igus® Robot Control is not a component of the part and can optionally be purchased from us. A master control system is not necessary.

If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem either.

Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system, which controls the coordination of the movement. You must then program the inverse kinematics for the delta robot yourself on your development environment.
The motor control systems are not a component of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.

Optional accessories
Proximity switches, connection cables, energy chains and control systems are available upon request.
