Robotic crane

The robotic crane is mounted on a truck – it loads recycling containers at both sides of the truck. Telescopic arms make the required flexibility of movement possible: The centre pillar can be rotated through 220 degrees, and the clamp which grips the containers by 180 degrees. Different cables and hoses have to be installed for these two functions. They should be able to be replaced easily and protected in the best way possible against external influences. This is guaranteed by e-chains® from igus®.
