How does the dinghy get on to the yacht or the jet ski into the water? This plant manufacturer knows the answer. The company designs lift systems for yachts - and relies on e-chain cable carriers, drylin profile guides and iglide plain bearings.
These cranes are used to hoist boats out of the water in Fort Meyers, Florida. In both, iglide P is used directly in the cable winch drive shaft, which performs a lifting and lowering movement to lift the boats completely out of the water.
To save moorings in ports, the width of these water catamarans can be reduced to 4.85 meters. Any torsional loads are compensated for with a combination of E04 e-chains and drylin linear guides.
Hybrid drylin roller and plain bearings mounted on double drylin guides made of hard anodised aluminium allow this motor boat to change its steering gear position quickly and easily. The bearings are easy to install and also maintenance-free.
