CNC grinding machines

A very new generation of camshaft grinding machines – with two grinding wheels on the same axis and a rotating grinding head. This leads to a minimization of changeover times and to more precise final results because only one setup is needed for the entire production process. Basic information as low maintenance, limited operating range or also the rotary motion of the energy chain had to be taken into consideration during development. Tests have been carried out with different e- chains® from igus® and the products from the series E6 were convincing. Smooth motion, optimal attachment possibilities and open design for an easy handling in case of maintenance and care are only some of a few advantages. Three of these machines are already in use – two of them in Germany.
