Industry washing facility

A robot is positioned in a washing chamber and the cables for sensor or pneumatic hoses revive its six axles. They are exposed to rotations and torsion during the individual working cycles, which requires safe cable guiding. The critical point: The cables get in contact with water and chemicals during the washing process and it is difficult to control potential damages in a closed system. Numerous tests with products from different providers have been carried out. The robot works trouble-free with the triflex® RS dresspack system from igus®. The cable guiding is optimal, installation times are clearly shortened and the utilization rate of the washing plant has been increased.
