In this application, foodstuffs are weighed for the preparation of convenience food. However, since these are large, heavy quantities, the available energy supply system had to cope with high wear rates. Furthermore, all the media including a suction hose with a diameter of 80 millimetres were supposed to be guided with one energy chain cable carrier. The igus® bow chain, rotated by 90° as a special solution, does a good job here.
