Robotic Arms from robolink® for Industrial Automation

The selection of robotic arms from igus includes robolink® arms available with either 4 or 5 axes, as well as 4 and 6 axis ReBeL (Robotic embedded-BDLC & electronics Link) cobots with service robot capabilities. All of our robotic arms use lightweight, plastic robotic components that operate without any need for external lubricants which eliminates routine maintenance along with the chance of lubrication-based machine downtime. These components also resist dirt, dust & corrosion and reduce noise and vibrations. robolink arms have IP44 rated splashproof versions available, and motor and drive encoders can be provided upon request. The ReBeL cobot has the option for an open source variant, or an end-to-end version with integrated controls in the base and an accompanying power supply unit.

All of our robotic arms can be programmed with the free igus Robot Control (iRC) software, which makes programming simple with an intuitive 3D interface that lets users easily program various movements and functions. Our robot arms can also be outfitted with a 7th axis robot transfer unit to easily expand the robot’s workspace, which is particularly useful for welding, painting, and inspection applications, among others.

Applications/Industries: Material Handling & Assembly, Welding, Painting & Drilling, Auto Manufacturing, Pick and Place
