Rivet trouble-free

This machine is used for heat riveting. To guide the rivet head, a conventional bearing has been used in the past. They required permanent lubrication but after about two months due to temperatures of up to 160° C inside the rivet head, they abraded. Due to the high susceptibility to failure of the metal bearings, the designing engineers decided in favour of drylin® linear plain bearings from igus®. They do not require lubrication and work absolutely trouble-free among high temperatures.
