EC.IT is a design study for wear detection integrated into the guide trough for long travels with rol e-chain®.Using two sensors, the current service life of the e-chain® is determined during operation.​​​​​

The new concept eliminates the need for any sensors on or in the igus e-chain system® and the entire interior can be used for cable guidance.
