e-skin® corrugated tubes for cleanroom cable management

Safe and abrasion resistant cables guidance for ISO class 1 cleanrooms

e-skin® corrugated tubes are available in both a fully enclosed design and a version with individually openable chambers. This versatility is a unique feature not commonly found in comparable solutions. In addition, e-skin offers high inherent rigidity and a defined bend radius from 55 to 100 mm. The oval geometry ensures lateral stability, meaning short unsupported lengths are possible, even in small installation spaces. Conventional corrugated hoses do not offer this possibility. In addition, the energy supply is very quiet. Its noise level is only 29dB(A), 5dB(A) lower than alternative solutions.

Benefits:

To keep rooms free from particles, all machine parts - the energy supplies too - have to be abrasion-resistant. With the e-skin® corrugated tube, systems are supplied with data, media and energy without unwanted particles contaminating the air.

This test shows how quiet 'e-skin' corrugated tubes and 'e-skin® flat' cleanroom cables are. Compared to flat ribbon cables of competitors, the noise level of the e-skin® flat is only 29dB(A).
