From container separation and dosing stations to filling technology

No matter which system station: igus® offers a modular construction kit consisting of linear and rotary bearing technology that fulfils all requirements:

Linear bearings in conveyor technology, for example, enable precise positioning when feeding containers.
lubrication-free plain and spherical plain bearings are used, for example, in the linear stroke for container separation, in the bearing support of threaded spindles, in the flap opening mechanism of multihead weighers or in the dosing unit.
Spindle lifting tables with a high static load capacity are used in combination with linear bearings and guide carriages to adjust the filling arm.
And energy chains for cable routing are used when the safe height adjustment of filling stations must be guaranteed.

Dosing systems

Dosing stations are a single module within an overall system that can be customised as a modular system. They should therefore usually be considered together with other stations, from container separation to filling and lid separation.

Filling systems

At the centre of the filling station is the filling arm, which precisely fills containers such as buckets, canisters or hobbocks with different contents and in a wide variety of industries.
Filling systems or filling stations are often modular individual sections of a larger packaging system. Other process steps, such as container feeding, are located directly upstream.

Products used and application examples
As a wide variety of tasks are combined in the filling line, from container feeding to dosing and filling, a colourful range of machine components such as storage systems, spindles or even energy chains are used here.
