Versatile Tribo-Tape enables separable PRT slewing ring bearing

Motivated by a customer request, igus® has developed a separable PRT slewing ring bearing which, for example, can be installed even for shafts that are already fixed. Because the traditional sliding elements did not stay in their positions when the housing was separated, the self-lubricating tribo-tape made of iglide® A160 is used here. This combination of two existing products results in a new, interesting product innovation which can be transferred to the different sizes and variants of slewing ring bearings.
