Your configuration options

Using the TriboCut user interface, you can easily configure your requirements and thus calculate prices

Choose the best material for your application:

Your individual turned and milled parts can be made of any types of iglidur® bar stock . At any time, you can choose from the entire variety of iglidur® materials in order to make use of the best tribological properties for your component in your application.

Specify tolerances:

Your components will be made in accordance with the requirements for plastic components as indicated in ISO 2768-mK. Does your component have length measurements with different tolerances? - No problem, you can also indicate these and thus find out the price.

Configure holes:

Holes are automatically detected on the basis of your 3D model. You can therefore configure threads and the fit. The price is automatically adapted accordingly.

Assign priority to your order:

Indicate your desired throughput time. If our usual throughput time is sufficient for you, select "Standard". At an additional cost, you can prioritize your order if you need your order to be processed faster.

Our manufacturing standards

Our manufacturing standards for iglidur® turned and milled parts ensure CNC machining that is appropriate for plastic

  • For the general tolerances of the parts with regard to length, shape and position,  ISO 2768-m/K  is applicable.

  • Different special tolerances for lengths are possible up to +/-0.05 mm

  • Holes can be configured as metric ISO threads or trapezoidal threads .Fits can be made in accordance with the ISO degrees of tolerance (IT) 10, 11, 12 and 13 in accordance with DIN ISO 286

  • Requirements outside of these standards are possible if a previous manufacturability test confirms this

Advantages of CNC processing

Large selection of materials and qualities

The large variety of materials of our iglidur® bar stock guarantees optimum, tribological properties for any application

Precise component dimensions:

Dimensionally stable components with narrow tolerances (up to +/- 0.05mm) and fits up to ISO tolerance degree 10 are possible - in individual cases, even narrower tolerances are possible.

High surface finish:

Due to the method used, CNC machining produces good surfaces - also with regard to the sliding surfaces iglidur® components normally do not need any special reworking

Economically efficient in the case of small to medium-sized quantities

For quantities in the two to four-figure range, CNC machining is often the most economically efficient method
