With CFRIP, the jackets of chainflex® cables can be opened like a zipper. Both unshielded and shielded cables are available with the special tear strip—unshielded has the strip underneath the outer jacket and shielded has the strip underneath the inner jacket. By pulling on the tear strip, the outer/inner jacket can be removed to a desired length. This not only saves time and effort for assemblers and electricians, but also eliminates the need for additional tools.
