Lock gates
With these lock gates, the energy supply had to be replaced quickly, so pre-assembled readychains® from igus® were used, with appropriate connectors were already fitted. The e-chains® are routed in aluminum channels and connect the gates with the supply building. Travel is about 131 feet for each lock gate. The e-chains® must be seawater-resistant and be able to compensate sideways movement.
