Spherical bearing use in steering linkage of the air car

igubal® spherical bearings are lightweight and keep steering stable at high speeds

Fourteen igubal® male thread rod end spherical bearings were used in the steering linkage of an air car. The spherical bearings provide high stiffening (meaning they enable the car to maintain steering stability at high speeds), maintenance-free dry operation and are low in weight. Thus, reducing the weight of the air car by over 1.5 kg, corresponding to an increase in cruising range of about 100 km.
