Innovative channel system for safe chain guidance "on the side"

Especially in the automotive industry, whether as a linear, gantry or industrial robot that travels on the 7th axis, a reliable, fast and safe energy and data supply is always in demand. For maximum reliability in applications with high speeds and cycle numbers, igus has now developed the plane-chain, a new type of energy chain system for automation. In the new concept, an energy chain is guided flat on its side in the special channel. The advantage of this is that the designer saves space due to the low overall height.
