Pre-assembled cable carriers for machining centers

The company responsible for these machining centers is well-known as a market leader in high performance metalworking machines. One of its newer machines is a gantry system with high accuracy (Tp=0.007) and fast machining speeds. Pre-assembled readychain® cables and cable carriers from igus were used for the first time in this machine to help cut installation times short and prolong service life. The chainflex® continuous-flex cables used were specially developed for cable carrier applications. They allow small bending radii and distinguish themselves with a long service life despite the stress of continuous movement.
