What does igus® predictive maintenance (i.Cee) mean?
Smart networking between individual components lays the groundwork for effective predictive maintenance. At igus®, this system is called i.Cee, with the i.Cee software at its core. By adding sensors to standard components, such as energy chains, plain bearing bushes, or linear carriages, these off-the-shelf products become smart, connected solutions.
This upgrade allows the system to calculate the maximum service life of each product and recommend the best time for maintenance. The software uses adaptive algorithms that adjust based on how the equipment is actually used. With just a few sensors and the i.Cee software, standard igus® products quickly transform into intelligent energy supply or bearing systems.
