spherical balls
igubal® spherical balls are made from high-performance iglide® plastics. Each iglide® material has its own special properties which help determine its suitability for a given application. Currently, igus® offers spherical balls in iglide® L280 as standard, but also iglide® J, J4, R, UW and T500.

iglide® L280 (standard) - extreme wear resistance

iglide® R - low cost, low friction values

iglide® T500 - for high temperatures, resistant to chemicals

iglide® J and iglide® J4 - low friction values, low moisture absorption

iglide® UW for underwater applications


Tolerances

Maintenance-free igubal® spherical balls have an inside diameter tolerance of E10. The shaft should have a tolerance of between h6 and h9.
