xiros® radial deep groove ball bearings are built for grease-free, maintenance-free operation where clean running and long life matter. This hybrid version combines a xirodur® B180 outer ring with a stainless steel inner ring and stainless steel balls to support higher loads than fully polymer versions while keeping the lightweight, corrosion-resistant benefits of the xiros® platform.
xirodur® B180 is the all-rounder in the xiros® range, known for balanced wear performance and broad application versatility. Here, it is paired with an iglide® J3 cage that improves stability and sliding behavior, making this bearing a strong fit for more demanding radial applications.
The bearing is rated for operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C and can deliver at least 50x longer service life at 200 N and 500 rpm compared to plastic ball bearings with a plastic inner ring. For a more cost-effective all-plastic option, the standard B180 version is a natural comparison. For applications focused on cage-driven life improvement within the B180 family, the B180 version with an iglide® J3 cage is another strong alternative.
