iglide® i6000, Food-Safe 3D Printing Resin

FDA-compliant DLP resin for food-contact wear parts without PTFE: iglide® i6000 / i6000 BLUE

The new iglide® i6000 and iglide® i6000 BLUE triboresins were specially developed for food-contact wear parts. For components in white or blue with a high-quality surface finish, the resin offers low friction and strong wear performance for moving applications. It is a strong fit for applications in the food, packaging, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as laboratory automation.
In addition to strong tribological performance, the material is PTFE-free and PFAS-tested. It can be processed on open-material resin printers and is suitable for systems with 385 nm and 405 nm light sources.

When to use it?

• If an FDA-compliant resin is required
• If a PTFE-free material is needed
• When low wear rates and low friction are important

When not to use it?

• For the manufacturing of gears (→ iglide® i4000)
• For filigree parts that do not need to be food-contact compliant (→ iglide® i2000 or iglide® i3000)
• For ductile components (→ iglide® i2000)
