When to use it: Mid-duty rotary applications with exactly four work positions, and any mechanism where the standard 90° pattern is exactly what’s needed.
When not to use it: When the application needs custom locking angles (use the -R variant for configurable detents), when remote release or electronic monitoring matter (use the -RC or -PD variants), or when more than four positions are required.
