iglide® W301 – round bar stock

iglide® W301 is a tough, wear-optimized variant for impact-prone roller and guide applications. It combines low friction with high media resistance and dependable wear behavior, supporting quiet motion and stable performance in everyday machinery where shocks and bumps are common.

When to use it: For conveyor rollers, bump stops and guides that see repeated impacts and need clean, dry-running performance.
When not to use it: For extreme chemical exposure at high heat, consider iglide® C500 or A500; for heavy static loads, consider W300.

When to use bar stock:

• No matching size in the iglide® catalog
• Small quantities or special dimensions
• Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock:

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
