A friction-control variant with built-in damping and self-locking behavior. Built on the proven PRT-01-30 with hard-anodized aluminum and iglide® J, this variant adds an integrated mechanism that lets you increase rotational torque by up to 5 Nm, enabling smooth motion control plus a meaningful degree of self-locking. Set the resistance once and the bearing will hold position against incidental loads without additional hardware. When to use it: Manual or semi-automatic rotary applications where some adjustable resistance or self-locking behavior is desired.
When not to use it: When motion should be entirely free (use the standard PRT-01), when an external clamp or stop is sufficient (use the -HK or -AA variants), or when the required holding torque exceeds 5 Nm.
