The new standard linear cartesian robot system especially for palletizing applications ensures reliable and flexible loading and unloading of pallets. The drylin® gantry can lift a weight of up to 10kg and is our strongest XYZ Gantry robot. igus gantries include pre-configured drylin linear actuators with NEMA stepper motors as well as all components required for self-assembly.

X-axes: Two drylin® ZLW-20120 belt-driven actuators with NEMA24 stepper motor with encoder and gearbox (i=5:1)
Y-axis: drylin® ZLW-20200 belt-driven actuator with NEMA24 stepper motor with encoder and gear (i=5:1)
Z-axis: drylin® GRR-1280 boom axis with rack and pinion drive and NEMA24 stepper motor with encoder & brake

Control system
The gantry can be controlled directly by our igus® Robot Control software.  If you want to use your own (robot) control system that is also possible.  Proximity switches, connecting cables, cable carriers and control systems are available upon request.

Applications : Pick and place, Conveyor belt picking, Sorting tasks, Stacking tasks and specifically palletizing applications in three-dimensional space.
