drylin® T guide carriage TW-12

Heavy duty, with adjustable clearance
Product description
drylin® T linear guide

The new generation of high performance and robust drylin® T linear guides are fitted with sliding elements made of iglidur® J200. Their simple construction with high-performance polymer bearing elements make them shock-resistant and durable.

  • 50% longer service life in comparison to iglidur® J
  • Robust, captive bearing elements made of iglidur® J200
  • Adjustable bearing alignment
  • The carriages and rails have the same dimensions as recirculating ball-bearing guides
  • Suitable for rails of the TS-01 series

Typical areas of application:

Machine tools, Woodworking, Handling

Why plastic instead of metal in T rail guides?

High-performance polymers make drylin® linear technology even more robust
High-performance polymer sliding elements make drylin® linear technology especially wear-resistant and durable - even when subjected to high mechanical loads.

Long service life in spite of being exposed to high levels of dirt.
In contrast to recirculating ball-bearing guides, drylin® linear technology uses sliding elements made of high-performance polymers that prevent dirt and dust from sticking.

No corrosion, lubrication-free
The materials used for the drylin® linear guides are highly resistant to various fluids and have been tested for use underwater.

Save up to 75% weight with drylin® linear technology
Conventional recirculating ball-bearing guides mainly consist of metal, whereas light, high-performance polymers are used for drylin® linear technology.

Polymer sliding elements make it four times quieter
Thanks to their high-performance polymer sliding elements, drylin® products have a noise output of 20 dB on average and are therefore around 4 times quieter than conventional metal bearings.

Lubrication-free linear technology for hygienic environments
The lubrication-free sliding elements and high-performance polymer linear bearing make the drylin® linear technology suitable for clean and hygienic applications.
