In the case of this application with an igus® E-Chain from the E2/000 series, one thing is saved most of all: space. The energy chain was installed on an injection moulding tool so that no additional space is necessary in horizontal direction for the unreeling movement. In vertical direction, the space above the lateral table area also remains free and can be used for other purposes.
