iglidur® J2 | Environmentally friendly, versatile and favourable

iglidur® J2 has good universal media resistance comparable to iglidur® J and similar materials. The mechanical specifications in sporadically moving applications are better, but in comparison there are significant reductions in friction and wear. Like all iglidur® materials, iglidur® J2 is PFOA-free.

When to use it?

• When low moisture absorption and good media resistance with primarily static load is required
• When a low-cost material for use in a damp environment with low pv values is required
• When there is basic lubrication of the bearing point

When do I not use it?

• If a very wear-resistant material is required for continuous dry operation
• If low moisture absorption and media resistance play a subordinate role
• If high temperature and chemical resistance are required
